C'est à 15h35 ce dimanche 22 février qu'Arnaud Boissières, skipper d'Akena Vérandas, a franchi la ligne d'arrivée du Vendée Globe 2008-2009 après 105 jours 02 heures 33 minutes 50 secondes de course. Il s'empare de la septième place 20 jours 23h36 après le vainqueur Michel Desjoyeaux (Foncia).
